The University of Sydney Business School is pleased to offer financial assistance to Master of Management (CEMS) students participating on exchange in a recognised CEMS partner university. The University of Sydney Business School is pleased to offer financial assistance to Master of Management (CEMS) students participating on exchange to a recognised CEMS Partner University. Open to local and international, postgraduate students currently enrolled in the postgraduate coursework program, Master of Management (CEMS) under the administration of the University of Sydney Business School. Students must be undertaking one or two semesters of exchange at one of the recognised CEMS partner institutions and undertake approved study which may be credited back to the Master of Management (CEMS) degree. The scholarships may be held concurrently with other scholarship funding that assists with the Student’s Exchange Program. The scholarships will be awarded automatically and ranked on the basis of academic merit (determined by Weighted Average Mark) for all University of Sydney units of study completed in the student s first semester in the Master of Management (CEMS). No application is necessary. $2000 each and tenable only during the student’s first semester participating on exchange. Up to four scholarships may be available each year. Two scholarships may be awarded in semester one and two scholarships may be awarded in semester two of the academic year. Depending on the calibre of the eligible group scholarship places may vary. Additional scholarship places may be offered at the program Director’s discretion. The Business School will endeavour to make payments prior to Semester 2 group’s departure but it is envisioned that the selection process may be delayed until August due to the availability of student grades. Semester 1 departing students are expected to receive payment between February to March. The scholarship shall be terminated if the recipient: Does not enrol full-time Meet the conditions of their degree program during the tenure of the scholarship Meet the conditions of exchange arrangements during the tenure of the scholarship Recipients are liable to repay the scholarship funding The scholarship is offered for, and is tenable in the Master of Management CEMS degree and is not transferable to another degree program. Requests to suspend the scholarship after a confirmed offer will only be approved under exceptional circumstances such as a severe medical condition which limits the student s capacity to undertake the exchange. Such requests must be supported by the Program Director, Master of Management (CEMS). Scholarship recipients must enrol full-time and meet the conditions of their degree program and exchange arrangements during the tenure of the scholarship
