About this scholarship
In 2024, Edna Phyllis Chatfield bequeathed an amount to the University of Adelaide for the purpose of establishing scholarships to support students undertaking studies in piano at the Elder Conservatorium of Music. Ms Chatfield enjoyed learning and playing the piano and attended many concerts at the Elder Conservatorium of Music during her lifetime. The Chatfield Memorial Scholarship for Piano supports students undertaking a Bachelor of Music or Bachelor of Music (Honours) program of study, who are also specialising in piano at Adelaide University.
