George Alexander Foundation Scholarship
About this scholarship
Each year the Australian National University ("ANU") may offer up to five (5) awards known as the George Alexander Foundation Scholarships. The objectives of this award are to support: commencing students who must move from rural, regional or remote areas in orderto undertake an undergraduate degree at the University; students who demonstrate strong academic merit, community involvement and leadership potential. Funding for this award has been provided by the George Alexander Foundation (GAF), which was established in 1972 by Mr George Alexander to provide grants for public charitable purposes in Australia, with an emphasis on supporting talented young people pursue their potential.
