About this scholarship

The Gould Experimental Science Grant was established to support graduate research candidates undertaking experimental research as part of a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Master of Philosophy (MPhil) program at Adelaide University. Established through a personal gift from Dr Ian Gould, former Chancellor of the University of South Australia, the Grant encourages hands-on research where candidates actively engage in experimental work and collect and analyse their own data. Successful applicants will receive a $10,000 grant to support the costs of experimental research data collection and analysis.
