About this scholarship
You must be: an Australian citizen or permanent resident enrolled full-time in a higher degree by research at the University of Sydney. Note: You will be considered for all GIAs where you meet the eligibility requirements. Some grants are open to undergraduate students, or specific areas of studies please refer to the terms and conditions section for details. If a GIA is sought by an applicant in consecutive years, it will not be granted for the same research trip. The cost of obtaining or renewal of passports or travel insurance will not be supported. You may be covered by the University's travel insurance during your time overseas.
