Established in 2025 through the Kevin and Edna Bond Scholarship Endowment Fund, made possible by a generous gift from their descendants. Kevin and Edna Bond were highly respected in their community as Elders and founders of Inala Elders Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Corporation. This scholarship is designed to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students at UQ, a commitment which upholds Kevin and Edna’s legacy of empowering young people to pursue their educational aspirations and create lasting change in their communities.
