About this scholarship

The Patrick Cecil Greenland Scholarship for Piano was established in 1987 at the University of Adelaide by Patrick Cecil Greenland, M.B.E., to support outstanding students of piano in the Elder Conservatorium, in memory of Sir Thomas Elder, in appreciation of the work of the piano teachers of the Elder Conservatorium, and in gratitude to the University for the fruitful years of his life spent there as a student. The Scholarship is available to undergraduate students who are enrolled in the third and final year of the Bachelor of Music majoring in Classical Performance, Bachelor of Music majoring in Jazz Performance, Bachelor of Music or Bachelor of Music (Advanced) program of study and majoring in piano.
