About this scholarship
The Peter Gage Supplementary Scholarship in Membrane Physiology is named in honour of Professor Peter William Gage, in recognition of his having been one of Australia’s leaders in membrane physiology, biophysics and neuroscience. Peter influenced and encouraged a great many research students, postdoctoral fellows and senior colleagues in their scientific careers. The objective of the Award is to encourage outstanding domestic or international candidates to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program in the field of medical sciences, based in the JCSMR.
