Resilient Melbourne in Action PhD Scholarship
$30,000/yr stipend + tuition fees
About this scholarship
The Resilient Melbourne in Action PhD Scholarship provides a stipend worth $30,000 a year to a domestic research student enrolled in a PhD associated with the 100 Resilient Cities initiative. Pioneered by the Rockefeller Foundation, this initiative is aimed at achieving a shift in the way cities around the world are managed, enabling them to be better prepared for chronic stresses and acute shocks. The PhD will be partly embedded with the Resilient Melbourne Delivery Office, providing insight and experience in local government urban governance experimentation. The scholarship is co-sponsored by the Australian Government Research Training Program Scholarship and the Faculty of Architecture, Building and Planning.
