About this scholarship

Each year UNSW has a number of scholarships and awards available to support UNSW coursework students undertaking an overseas Exchange Program (outbound Exchange). Scholarships and awards are intended to assist with the costs of studying overseas, and are awarded across a range of areas. University students from partner universities (inbound Exchange) or who are participating in the Study Abroad program at UNSW (inbound Exchange), should contact the Study Abroad and Exchange team for information on available scholarships and awards. On this page you will find information on available scholarships and awards - some that require an application, and others that do not require you to submit a scholarship application. Merit Scholarships Eligible UNSW students participating in an Official Exchange Program in 2026 are not required to submit an application for the awards listed in this section. Eligible students will be automatically considered for these awards. Offers for these awards will be made to eligible students on a competitive basis using your Weighted Average Mark (WAM). You do not need to submit any specific scholarship application or additional supporting documentation to be considered.
