You're eligible if you: are an international student . are a passport holder of Bangladesh, Bhutan, Botswana, Cambodia, Cook Islands, Egypt, Federated States of Micronesia, Fiji, French Polynesia, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Kiribati, Laos, Malaysia, Marshall Islands, Mauritius, Mongolia, Morocco, Nauru, New Caledonia, Niue, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Rwanda, Samoa, Solomon Islands, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Timor-Leste, Tonga, Tuvalu, Uganda, Vanuatu, Vietnam, Zambia, Zimbabwe or an eligible country in Europe^ or Latin America*. ^ Europe: Albania, Luxembourg, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Montenegro, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey. *Latin America: Argentina, Bahamas, Belize, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, French Guiana, Guadeloupe, Guatemala, Guyana, Haiti, Honduras, Jamaica, Martinique, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Puerto Rico, Saint-Barthelemy, Saint-Martin, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago, Uruguay, Venezuela. And you: have applied to study full-time at UQ commencing in 2026 in an eligible program. Check the scholarship terms and conditions (PDF, 194KB) . have received an unconditional offer in an eligible program (or have satisfied all the conditions of a conditional offer). have satisfied the program entry rank and English language proficiency requirements. have achieved a competitive score as determined by the University among the pool of offer holders for programs in their commencement semester. And you have not: received another scholarship, tuition fee reduction or rebate from UQ. received a full scholarship/sponsorship from another organisation (applicants with partial scholarships/sponsorships may be considered).
