Whitworth Roach Scholarship
About this scholarship
Each year the ANU School of Music offers up to four awards known as the Whitworth Roach Scholarship. The scholarship aims to encourage and support first year undergraduate students to undertake studies in classical music performance at the ANU School of Music . Funding for this award has been provided by Ms Christine Roach.Since 2015, Ms Roach has generously supported students in classical music performance by funding the Whitworth Roach Classical Music Performance Competition. Christine has deepened her support of the School and its students with this additional award established in memory of her parents, Sylvia and William Whitworth, who encouraged Christine's love and appreciation of classical music
