About this scholarship
The objective of this Award is to support a junior clinician to undertake a PhD within the Personalised Medicine and Autoimmunity Laboratory, led by Associate Professor Simon Jiang, focusing on clinically oriented immunology research and the translation of modern research techniques into clinical practice. Professor Rolf Zinkernagel has generously funded this scholarship in honour of his time spent at The John Curtin School of Medical Research (JCSMR). Professor Zinkernagel shared the Nobel Prize for Physiology or Medicine with Professor Peter Doherty in 1996.
